Big winners throughout the night included British boyband, One Direction, who claimed an award for Best Pop Video and Best New Artist, while Nicki Minaj (Best Female Video – “Starships”) and her YMCMB labelmates, Lil Wayne and Drake scooped up Best Hip-Hop video for “HYFR.”
