Recognized as the godfather of Gangsta rap, Ice-T is granted unparalleled access into the personal lives of the masters of this artform that he credits for saving his life. Ice-T takes us on a journey into the heart and soul of hip-hop with the legends of rap music. This documentary goes beyond the stardom and the bling to explore what goes on inside the minds, and erupts from the lips of the grandmasters of rap. Interspersed with the performers’ insightful, touching, and often funny revelations are classic raps, freestyle rhymes, and never before heard a cappellas straight from the mouths of the creators. What emerges is a better understanding of and tribute to an original American art form that brought poetry to a new generation.

Having captivated audiences from coast-to-coast, N.A.R.S. Records / Mercury Records / Island Def Jam recording artist Luke James will be opening for Beyonce at Revel in Atlantic City from May 25th through to the 28th. Luke is excited to join the 16-time Grammy Award-winning singer for her sold out concerts in Atlantic City and is looking forward to showcasing his dynamic stage presence and signature sound in preparation for his highly anticipated debut album, “Made To Love,” this summer. Luke James got attention while opening for Robin Thicke’s “Love After War” tour and BET’s Music Matters “All of Me” tour with Estelle.

Luke James will also take the stage at the 2012 Essence Music Festival July 6th-8th, 2012 in New Orleans.
