RUMOR DENIED: BETs 106 & Park Expected to End This Week

BET’s 106 & Park is without a doubt the biggest medium for music videos and news available on television today, considering MTV cancelled its comparable program TRL back in 2008.

Back in May, the show’s then current hosts, Terrence J and Rocsi, announced that they would be done with the show and would be moving on with their careers. BET seemed to have no desire to end the show as they put out a casting call for a new pair of anchors. While a rigorous search was conducted, it appears that the show will ultimately be ending for good.

A source tells Global Grind that the show will be ending after this Friday’s episode.

106 & Park has been airing since the turn of the millenium (Season One in 2000).

There has been no official confirmation or announcement from BET.

UPDATE: 106 & Park’s official Twitter account tweeted the following post, confirming that the rumors are false and the show would continue as planned with new hosts.
