Blackberry owners both in the U.S. & Canada are suing RIM for the recent outage. The outage which took placed Oct. 10 until Oct. 14 left users not able to receive messages & emails. The class action lawsuit was filed by Eric Mitchell in California who is a Sprint Blackberry owner, seeks damages which includes cash compensation for service fees as well as legal costs. If the suit favors Blackberry owners RIM are facing “costly” fees.
