Cash Money Records CEO Birdman has revealed plans to shoot a movie with his Cash Money/Young Money family. Speaking to XXL, the CEO revealed, “We start shooting that in the fall. That’s the whole team, that’s like a 2012 Balla Blocking. The Rich Gang movie is about the team. Everybody is going to be the star of it, but Wayne will be the center of it. It’s about the team, everybody that’s on the label.”

When asked if the movie would be a fly on the wall documentary full of alter-egos he revealed, “I would like them for just be themselves,” the flamboyant CEO offered. “I’m not gonna tell no nigga to go to acting school. Just be yourself. We’re excited as a brand about it. Tyga, everybody is like, ‘Stunna, let’s do a movie.’ We got a few of them lined up and we gonna shoot them.”

As if you thought Battleship would be the last time we seen Rihanna on the big screen. The singer will have a role in the upcoming movie Fast & Furious 6. Writers were impressed with her acting debut in Battleship and felt the villain role would suit her perfect.

Rihanna will be racing cars alongside Dwayne Johnson & Vin Diesel out in England where the movie will be filmed. The filming will start early next month.

Romantic comedy ‘Think Like a Man’ holds on to the top spot at the US Box Office for a second weekend with takings of $18,000,000. The Screen Gem movie which stars Kevin Hart, Chris Brown, Keri Hilson, Michael Ealy, Terrence J to name but a few, has grossed $60,868,000 so far in the US.

‘Think Like a Man’ oversaw competition from new releases including, ‘The Pirates! Band of Misfits’ and last weekend’s runner-up, ‘The Lucky One’, to hold on to the top spot.

Rihanna stars as Cora Raikes in the new action movie ‘Battleship’. In this newly released clip Hopper and the crew investigate a captured alien.

‘Battleship’ opens in the US on May 18th.

Action movie ‘Battleship’ which stars Bajan singer Rihanna, set sail this week opening with a solid $55 million at the foreign box office.

Released in just 26 foreign markets, the film made a huge splash at the Asian box office generating a cool $8 million in Korea alone. Unfortunately, the Peter Berg showing was unable to defeat ‘Titanic 3D’ which generated $55 million in China alone on its way to a weekend gross of $88.2 million.

‘Battleship’, which reportedly cost $211 million to produce, opens in the US on May 18th.

Ice-T’s ‘Something From Nothing: The Art of Rap’ movie will be released in the US on June 8th. The self-directed movie which details the history and evolution of rap/hip-hop culture, boasts cameos from Eminem, Nas, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Kanye West and many others.
