Irv Gotti gives a little history on the relationship Jay-Z & DMX had in the 90′s. Gotti reveals to MTV Rap Fix that things weren’t always what they appeared to be. On the outside looking in one might think Jay & X were the best of friends, but they had a very competitive relationship stemming from a battle that took place.
On a collaboration record called Time To Build which featured both DMX & Jay-Z along with Mic Geronimo, & Ja Rule, Jay took some stabs at X. (Video below)
