Justin Timberlake confirms Jay Z and Drake collaborations for new album

After a show stopping Sunday night performance at the VMA’s that included an NSYNC reunion medley, Justin Timberlake has confirmed that his upcoming album, the 20/20 Experience Part 2 will feature collaborations from both Drake and Jay Z.

Whilst the collaboration between Jay Z and Timberlake is no surprise as filming for ‘Holy Grail’ video was shot last week in LA, the news that Drake is now also on board is huge. Drake may be returning the favour for Timberlake who features on his 3rd studio album ‘Nothing was the Same” set to drop in September.

It sounds like Timberlake has been luckier than the winner of a mobile casino jackpot recently, what with successful collaborations, receiving the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard award and a much-hyped band reunion performance at the VMA’s. JT confirmed that he has been trying to work with Drake with for awhile and now that it’s happened there will probably more joint studio sessions in the future. When asked how Drake’s session worked out, JT said that he had nailed it, and it seems the rapper and ex-N’SYNC band member have made a mean team.

JT’s work with Jay Z reportedly stems from a recording session last year when the 99 Problems hit maker and the Cry me a River singer sat down together to discuss future projects. JT says this was the inspiration behind the first 20/20 Experience instalment and his collaboration with Jay Z on Magna Carta Holy Grail. The idea actually came to him before they created their other hit singles and JT has now also confirmed that he is working with Jay Z and Timbaland on a separate project, stating that he trusts both artists one hundred, thousand percent.

It seems Jay Z and JT have made a cosy pair recently and were also spotted dining out with their wives at a swanky restaurant. JT stated that he and his wife get along well with Beyonce and Jay Z and it looks like even the ladies have given their seal of approval to the music their other halves will be making in the future.
