Shaquille O’Neal is set join the Lakers immortals and have his jersey hang next to names such as Chamberlain, Johnson, West, Abdul-Jabbar and Worthy when the franchise retires his No.34 on April 2.
A ceremony is planned at halftime when the Lakers host the Dallas Mavericks. Shaq retired in 2011, he spent eight seasons in Los Angeles, winning three titles and three Finals MVP’s.
