According to tweets from Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! sports, the New Orleans Hornets will officially become the New Orleans Pelicans tomorrow as they will be releasing their new logo. It was also announced that their uniforms will be red, blue and gold. Here are the tweets:

The New Orleans Hornets debuted as an NBA team in 1988 when they were called the Charlotte Hornets. They moved to New Orleans in the 2001-2002 season and will now get rid of the “Hornets” label they’ve had for more than two decades.
