We posted earlier the rumor about Mariah Carey leaving her label Island Def Jam.
TheProphetBlog however reached out to Mariah’s husband Nick Cannon who confirmed the rumor to be untrue:
The rumor is definitely untrue. We are about release the remix album!
Personally, I wouldn’t mind a label change for Mariah, it’s not clear either who is saying the truth so I guess we’ll just wait and see what happens.
