Rajon Rondo Suspended 2-Games By NBA

Nick Metallinos

As expected, the NBA has taken action against the Celtics Rajon Rondo for his role in the scuffle between players during yesterday’s game in Boston when the C’s hosted Brooklyn. Rondo was suspended for his actions in retaliating to a perceived hard foul by Nets forward Kris Humphries on Kevin Garnett which led to almost all players on the court to begin pushing and shoving. Humphries and Rondo were ejected,  as well as Gerald Wallace.

Wallace and Garnett both received fines from the league office of $35,000 and $25,000 respectively.
