Rashard Lewis is having a nice stretch right now. Got traded away from lowly Washington just prior to the Draft, just recently he was essentially paid $14 million by New Orleans to leave after he was bought out, and now he has landed a job with the defending champion Miami Heat. Pretty good work if you can get it.
Lewis is set to sign for the veterans minimum of $1.3 million to reunite with his former Seattle teammate Ray Allen on the Heat bench. South Beach is the place to be if you’re chasing that ‘chip it seems.
